Robin Revette Fowler is a Lecturer IV in the Program in Technical Communications at the University of Michigan. Her teaching is primarily with first-year engineering students, in team-based project-based design courses, and with senior engineering students working on their capstone projects. Her research focuses on improving teaching and learning in these contexts, including looking at the effectiveness of various types of feedback on student writing, and on engineering team communication in face-to-face and online chat-based settings.
