About Ella
Ella Alhudithi is a Lecturer I in the Program in Technical Communication in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan. Her pedagogical and research interests are in genre studies, corpus linguistics, rhetorical move analysis, disciplinary writing, and data-driven language learning. She received her M.A. from Colorado State University and is currently completing her Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics and Technology at Iowa State University. Her teaching has included courses, workshops, consultations, and seminars on various genres, including academic essays, three-minute thesis talks, conference research posters, and teaching philosophy statements.
