About Colleen

Colleen Hart is a Lecturer III in Technical Communication in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan. She has previously taught general education courses in composition and technical writing at Wayne State University, and she currently teaches E-100, ME-395, and TC-300. Her research interests include empathy’s relation to rhetoric and writing, with a particular focus on the rhetorical importance of empathy to support diversity and inclusion in higher education.
